Welcome to MShare! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MShare mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not download or use the App.
1. Data Collection and Use
MShare collects certain information about your device and usage of the App to improve its functionality and provide a better user experience. This information includes:
- Operating System (OS) version
- Location (generalized - not precise geolocation)
- Region
2. Device Identifier
The App transmits your device identifier in the request headers. However, this identifier is not currently used for analytics or stored for future use. It is currently reserved for future potential registration purposes.
3. Use of Data
The data collected by MShare is used for the following purposes:
- Matching Songs: Your region information helps MShare identify the correct song equivalent on the target music platform (e.g., Spotify) based on the Apple Music link you provide.
- Improving the App: We use anonymized data to analyze usage patterns and improve the overall functionality of the App.
4. Data Security
MShare takes reasonable steps to protect the information you provide from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
5. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with third-party services like Apple Music and Spotify. These services have their own privacy policies that govern their collection and use of data. We encourage you to review their policies for more information.
6. Changes to Terms of Use
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on the App. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after the revised Terms are posted signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
